Field of Membership

CCU’s field of membership is defined as:

Persons who reside or regularly work within the following boundaries:

  • On the West: the boundary shall be the Pacific Ocean;

  • On the North: the boundary shall commence with the road leading from the Pacific Ocean through Ferndale known as the Centerville Road to Highway 211 to Highway 101, thence south on Highway 101 to the Junction in Alton to Highway 36, thence east following Highway 36 to the eastern border of Trinity County;

  • On the East: the boundary will be the County Line of Trinity crossing Highway 36 and south along the Trinity County Line through Tehama and Glenn Counties to the Forty-Fourth Standard Parallel at Bald Mountain Ridge;

  • On the South: the boundary shall be the Forty-Fourth Standard Parallel west to the Pacific.

  • The towns of Ferndale, Fernbridge, Alton, Carlotta, Bridgeville and Mad River, which are located along Highway 211 and Highway 36, will be considered within the Credit Union’s field of membership.

  • Employees of this Credit Union.

  • Organizations of Such persons.

  • Immediate family members of the above, such as mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle, brother, sister, mother-in-law, father-in-law, brother-in-law and sister-in-law.

  • Other Credit Unions organized under either the Federal or State laws appertaining to Credit Unions.
