Open your new account by clicking on Membership Information Sheet. Complete this form, then bring it in and a New Accounts Representative will help you open an account. *Must bring a valid photo I.D. and proof of live/work in the area.
Transfer direct deposit and automatic payments. Once your new credit union account is opened, you’ll need to notify companies and financial institutions that make automatic withdrawals from your old account. These may include utility companies, telephone, mortgage companies, etc. You will also need to notify any company that makes automatic deposits into your account, such as direct deposit through your employer. Click on Direct Deposit For Employers, Direct Deposit For SSI, SS, VA, or Automatic Payment Transfer to print out the correct forms to help make these transitions as easy as possible for you.
Click on Close Your Old Account. Complete this form and send to your previous financial institution. Be sure to leave your account(s) open long enough for outstanding checks and withdrawals to clear.
